Silent Sparks Privacy Policy

1. Eligibility and Age Restriction

The Silent Sparks app is intended solely for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If we become aware that a user is under the age of 18, we will immediately terminate that user's account and delete any associated data. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at legal@silentsparks.in.

2. Information We Collect

If you wish to access or use the features of the Services offered by Hidden Leaf Technologies, you are required to register with us. During the registration process, we will request specific information, including your phone number and country dial code. This information is used to verify your identity via a one-time password (OTP) sent via SMS, and to deliver the Services you have requested.

What we do NOT collect: Silent Sparks does not upload, store, or transmit your device contacts to our servers. Your contacts remain entirely on your device. The app only reads your contact list locally to display it within the app interface. We do not have access to, nor do we retain, your contact list.

What we do collect: The only relational data we store on our servers is information about contacts you have explicitly chosen to "like" within the app, solely for the purpose of detecting mutual interest. This data consists of phone numbers of contacts you have liked and is used exclusively to determine whether a mutual match exists.

Hidden Leaf Technologies automatically collects aggregate information related to all users as a whole, such as areas most frequently visited and services most frequently accessed. We also collect session source data for the purpose of monitoring system performance.

When you access our Services through a mobile device, we may receive and store unique identification numbers associated with your device or our mobile application, including a device ID, Google Ad ID, or Android Advertising ID. We may also gather information about your mobile carrier, device type, model, manufacturer, mobile device operating system, and approximate geographical location data derived from your IP address or dial code.

3. How Hidden Leaf Technologies Uses the Information Collected

Hidden Leaf Technologies collects information for the following purposes:

1. Operational Functionality: We use your information to operate, maintain, and provide you with the features and functionality of the Services. This includes identity verification via OTP, detecting mutual matches between users, customer service and support, and responding to your comments, questions, and requests. We may also send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, information regarding changes to our policies, and support and administrative messages.

2. Security and Fraud Prevention: We use your data to prevent and address fraud, breaches of policies or terms, and threats or harm to our Services or the community. We also monitor trends, usage, and activities to maintain security.

3. Service Enhancement: Information collected aids in monitoring and improving the Services and our other products. It may contribute to the development and delivery of communications about our products and services.

The personal information you provide to Hidden Leaf Technologies will not be disclosed to any third parties outside of Hidden Leaf Technologies and its agents unless as disclosed in this privacy policy, with your explicit permission, or under special circumstances such as legal compliance, policy enforcement, responding to claims of third-party rights violations, or safeguarding the rights, property, or personal safety of Hidden Leaf Technologies, its users, or the public.

4. Hidden Leaf Technologies Sharing of Information

We share the information we collect in accordance with the practices outlined in this privacy policy. The reasons for sharing and the categories of parties with whom we share information include the following:

1. Aggregated or De-identified Information: Hidden Leaf Technologies may disclose aggregated or de-identified user statistics for legitimate purposes, such as describing the Services to prospective partners and other parties. This information does not identify specific users.

2. Service Providers: We engage service providers to perform various functions on our behalf, such as data storage, data analysis, text message delivery, and support for our internal operations. 3. Enhanced Security — OTP Delivery: To verify your phone number during sign-in, your phone number is shared with 2factor.in solely for the purpose of SMS delivery of the OTP. The privacy policy of 2factor.in can be found at: https://2factor.in/v3/tos.

4. Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency), including to comply with national security or law enforcement requirements.

5. Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary to provide you with the Services and for legitimate and essential business purposes, such as maintaining the performance of the Services, complying with our legal obligations, and resolving disputes.

Account Deletion: You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at legal@silentsparks.in. Upon account deletion, we will delete your phone number and all associated "like" data from our servers within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law. Aggregate and de-identified data that does not identify you may be retained indefinitely.

Inactive Accounts: If your account remains inactive for a continuous period of 24 months, we may delete your account and associated data after notifying you via SMS.

6. Your Rights and Choices Under the DPDP Act, 2023

In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") of India, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

1. Right of Access: You have the right to obtain confirmation of whether we are processing your personal data and to access a summary of the personal data we hold about you.

2. Right to Correction and Erasure: You have the right to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data and to request erasure of your personal data that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

3. Right to Grievance Redressal: You have the right to have your grievances addressed by us in a timely manner. Please contact our Grievance Officer as specified in Section 9 below.

4. Right to Nominate: You have the right to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.

5. Right to Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. Please note that withdrawing consent may affect your ability to use certain features of the app.

Push Notifications: If you have opted-in to receive push notifications on your device, you can opt out at any time by adjusting the permissions on your device or by uninstalling our app.

App Technologies: You can halt the collection of information via the app by uninstalling the app. You can also reset your device Ad ID at any time through your device settings.

7. Security

Hidden Leaf Technologies implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical procedures to safeguard the information stored on our servers, which are located in India. These security measures may encompass data encryption, firewalls, data access and use restrictions, and physical access controls to our facilities. However, please be aware that no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot assure the absolute security of the information about you. 8. Hidden Leaf Technologies Privacy Policy Changes

If Hidden Leaf Technologies makes any changes to this privacy policy, we will post those changes at https://www.silentsparks.in/privacy-policy and notify you via SMS or in-app notification where the changes are significant. By continuing to use the Services after changes are posted, you indicate your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this privacy policy, we kindly request that you refrain from using the Services.
